Throughout history, our forebears sought ways to immortalize their wisdom and narratives for future generations. Initially, they etched their experiences onto cave walls. Commencing with primal hues like blood, often from hunted game, and later evolving to pigments and charcoal. These depictions varied—chronicling battles, imparting instructions, mapping family lineages, or simply portraying beloved livestock. Yet, fundamentally, these endeavors aimed to encapsulate stories and perpetuate essential information.
In the contemporary world, we’re inundated with information from street signs to online content. Every element meticulously crafted to captivate our attention. Vibrant colors and visuals intended to arrest the eye, while bold typography demands engagement, guiding our mental assimilation of information. Even fleeting glances at highway billboards imprint lasting impressions. All these elements share a common purpose: to communicate—a call to action, a message of significance, a warning, or simply to assert presence. Everything is consciously designed to communicate.
